Today, around the US, families will be celebrating Ground Hog Day. Ground Hog Day is a day of reflection on the favorite topic of people all over the world – the weather.
Each family will gather outside as it’s weather-predicting rodent looks up to the sky, and communicates by sign language or mental telepathy the arrival of Spring. Then the rodent is butchered, cooked, and served to the awaiting family. Those families who prefer not to observe this holiday (getting their weather information from humans known as meteorologists) have to make due with chicken, pork, beef, or fish since eating humans is not an acceptable practice in the US.
Whatever you eat today – drizzle some olive oil on it. Olive oil makes anything taste better.
May the sun shine through your branches.
