A jar of Gaudino almond-stuffed olives eaten in Helsinki, Finland have been found to contain botulism. The toxin may be confined to only that particular jar, but do not take any chances.
If you are in the US and have any Gaudiano products in your pantry or know anyone who has any in their’s, contact your local public health department for instructions on disposal.
Currently, the government of Italy is investigating the botulism outbreak. Until the Italian investigation is complete and the outcome is known, do not eat any Gaudiano products.
May the sun shine through your branches.
